Kazakhstan. Meteorological conditions favoring winter crops

Favorable meteorological conditions for winter crops were seen in their growing regions across the south and southeast of Kazakhstan on November 21-30. Precipitation rates were above normal there, reports UkrAgroConsult.

Persistent snow covers winter crops in mountainous and sub-mountainous areas in Almaty region. The fields in Jambyl and Turkestan regions are snow-free – crops may get killed by frost there in case of a temperature drop.
