Romanian wheat exports were 9.5% up from last season

According to port data, in July-December 2018/19 MY Romania exported 3163 KMT of wheat, which is 9.5% more than over the same period last season, but -6% compared to record pace noted in July-December 2016/17 MY (3359 KMT), reports UkrAgroConsult.

In December 2018/19 MY Romanian wheat export were 59.7 KMT, which was twice as lower as in the same month in 2018 (-55%) and steeply lower than in December 2016 (-90%) due to decreasing wheat export potential.

In December 2018 key buyers of Romanian wheat were: Jordan, Libya and Ireland.
