Ukraine. AgroGeneration experiments on winter peas production in Kharkiv region

The AgroGeneration company launched an experiment on the cultivation of winter peas in Kharkiv region.

“Unlike spring peas, this crop is better adapted to temperature extremes and droughts, which agrarians in eastern Ukraine face for the second year in a row,” the company said.

The first hectares of the crop were sown in Pervomaisky district. Winter peas crops in the agrofirm Ukraine Nova, which joined the experiment, have already given the first shots and, according to agronomists, are in a satisfactory condition.

Earlier it was reported that in H1 2018 AgroGeneration received EUR 1.83 million of net profit against EUR 305 thou. of loss in the corresponding period of the year 2017.
