As of February 1, 2019, agricultural enterprises, and grain storage and processing enterprises of Ukraine stored 24.4 mln tonnes of grains, an increase of almost 2.2 mln tonnes compared with the same date in 2018, reported the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.

In particular, wheat stocks totaled 6.149 mln tonnes, corn for grain — 16.39 mln tonnes, barley — 1.22 mln tonnes, rye — 73.7 thsd tonnes, as well as sunflower seed — 5.533 mln tonnes.

According to the announcement, directly agrarian enterprises stored 13.084 mln tonnes of the reporting agricultural crops, while crop processing and storing enterprises — 11.402 mln tonnes.
