Ukraine. Corn prices down this week

Last week, the State Statistics Service of Ukraine published preliminary data on the total 2018 harvest of grains and oilseeds. Officially, the harvest amounted to 69.8 MMT. In particular, the corn crop is estimated at 35.57 MMT against the previous official estimate of 35 MMT (24.67 MMT last year).

According to preliminary information from trade sources, Ukraine has exported more than 10 MMT of corn since September 2018. This is 54% more than last season.

This week (Feb 04-08), corn prices has decreased slightly due to the internal and external factors, reports UkrAgroConsult.
