Ukraine. Grain crop exceeded 69 MMT

The harvest of late crops in Ukraine was 99% complete as of December 3, 2018. Noteworthy is that the Ag Ministry has lowered the forecast for their harvest area again, to 14,802 Th ha from 14,835 Th ha predicted as of November 26, 2018. In addition, the forecast harvest area of corn was reduced by 1 Th ha.

The grain corn harvest has slowed down noticeably toward its completion. 2% of this crop’s acreage has been harvested over the week, reports UkrAgroConsult.

Farmers did not plant winter grains in the recent few days, except for winter wheat and triticale – their plantings have gained 1 Th ha over the week.
