According to the National Statistics Committee of Belarus, the country boosted rape meal exports to 138.5 KMT in January-October 2018 that is almost ten times as much as in the same period last year. Thus, they beat the all-time record of 103.6 KMT set in 2015.
Export potential of the rape meal market was raised due to a surge in domestic rapeseed crushing, reports UkrAgroConsult.
As before, the largest buyers of Belarusian rape meal this year are EU countries (89.2 KMT) and Russia (43.5 KMT).
