Bulgaria completed sunseed harvesting

According to Bulgaria’s Ag Ministry, sunflower seed had been harvested from 734.5 Th ha by November 1 (99.9% of its forecast area of 735 Th ha). Farmers harvested 1886.6 KMT of sunseed with a yield of 2.57 MT/ha. The harvest is 9% behind last year, but sunseed yield is 12.7% higher than a year ago, reports UkrAgroConsult.

Growers had seeded 153.4 Th ha of rapeseed by November 1 against 163.7 Th ha a year ago. The planting pace is now 6.3% behind last year against a 4.8% delay registered a week ago.
