Kazakhstan. Linseed export potential to raise the maximum level

Kazakh linseed exports in September 2018 totaled 19.3 KMT that is down 2.5% from September 2017, when supplies to foreign markets reached a record 19.8 KMT.

Taking into account that 2018/19 linseed production is expected to gain 10% and reach a record high, exports will hit a new high as well. UkrAgroConsult forecasts that 430-450 KMT of oilseeds will be shipped abroad.

No significant changes happened in the export pattern in the first month of the season. Almost 50% of total exports go to the EU, while Afghanistan absorbs 35%, Uzbekistan gets 10%, and Turkmenistan accounts for 3%.
