Chinese company Tien Ji is going to invest RUB 200 Ml in the project of a joint venture in Priargunsky and Kaltansky districts of Zabaykalsky region. It procures and purchases coarse feeds for the livestock sector, reports UkrAgroConsult.
The project is part of the Social and Economic Development Strategy of Priargunsky district until 2030, which provides not only for purchasing hay from business entities and individuals for its export to China, but also for grain growing and rapeseed processing. These changes are expected to promote more effective use of farmlands.
Priargunsky district is located in the southeast of Zabaykalsky region and borders on China. The total farmland area equals 387.2 Th ha.
