Russia. Port capacities for grain handling to increase by 75% before 2024

In the next six years, Russia plans to increase capacities of ports for grain and oilseeds turnover by 75% to 78 MMT. The Ministry of Agriculture is looking for a possibility of providing state support to projects for construction and modernization of port terminals, including the program of preferential loans at 5% per year, reports UkrAgroConsult.

Russian Government developed a comprehensive plan for modernization and expansion of the infrastructure for the period up to 2024, according to which it is planned to build new ports and create additional port facilities, including those for handling bulk and liquid cargoes.
