Russia. Wilmar planning major investment in Primorye’s soybean sector

Singapore’s Wilmar International Ltd is planning to invest USD 732 Ml in the implementation of an agricultural project in Primorye region. The project is aimed at growing soybeans, processing and handling soybean concentrates and soybean oil, reports UkrAgroConsult.

The long-term investment program stipulates growing soybeans on an area of 600 Th ha, building two soybean crushers with an annual capacity of 500-600 KMT and a system of silos and a marine terminal for handling soybean concentrates and oil.
