Ukraine. A sunflower oil plant to start operating in Sloviansk

A new sunseed crushing plant of Private Joint-Stock Company Inter Agroline will shortly start operating in Sloviansk. The state-of-the-art production facility has been erected in the place of a compound feed mill   redesigned by the investor into an oil extractor.

Equipment of both Ukrainian and foreign manufacture has been installed at the plant. Chinese specialists are now adjusting the equipment for sunflower seed processing.

The plant’s total production capacity will approximate 240 MT a day. This will be waste-free production: husks will be pressed into briquettes and used for heating, reports UkrAgroConsult.
