Ukraine. Delta Wilmar CIS announced expansion plans for the coming two years

LLC Delta Wilmar CIS has announced the launch of new facilities at a vegoil processing and special-fat producing plant in the Yuzhny port in Q1 2019. The project envisages the construction of a refining facility with a daily capacity of 400 MT, a hydrogenation facility with 200 MT a day, upgrading the packaging unit along with the 5 KMT packaged product warehouse. The project costs USD 32 Ml, reports UkrAgroConsult.

As of today, the plant’s capacities are as follows: refining – 2.1 KMT a day, hydrogenation – 200 MT a day, packaging – 700 MT a day. Capacity of the packaged product warehouse is 10 KMT.

In addition, Delta Wilmar is planning to build by 2020 a food vegoil and meal handling berth with an annual capacity of up to 3 MMT, a 40 KMT meal storage terminal and a soybean crusher with a daily capacity of 2 KMT. The total amount of investment will be USD 150 Ml.

The above projects are mentioned in a memorandum of cooperation signed between the company and the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority in June 2018.
