Ukraine. Early-November oilseed inventories higher than last year

According to current information of the State Statistics Service, sunseed stocks in Ukraine totaled 8460.6 KMT as of November 1, 2018 that is up 11% from the same date last year (7259.4 KMT). This included 4933.3 KMT held on farms (up 820.5 KMT, or 20% from November 1, 2017) and 3527.3 KMT at storage and processing facilities (up 380.7 KMT, or 12.1% on the year), reports UkrAgroConsult.

As of November 1, 2018, crusher soybean stocks were up 2% year-on-year at 1210.6 KMT against 1186.1 KMT on November 1, 2017. Rapeseed stocks as of the reporting date were higher than a year ago (393.7 KMT against 331.9 KMT, respectively) due to an earlier start of this year’s harvest.
