Ukraine. Sunflower processing facility to be built in Reni port

In the year 2019, on the territory of the commercial sea port of Reni (Odesa region), the investment project by Danube Prom Agro will be resumed. The project includes the construction of a sunflower processing plant, Oblvesti informs.

The total investment is UAH 40 million.

A modern complex for transshipment and processing of organic products will be constructed in the port. The project envisages the construction of a 6 thou. tons grain storage in 2018, and a plant for processing sunflower and soybean in 2019.

As previously reported, in the period from February 2 to February 8 of the current year, 886 thou. tons of main grain crops were exported from the Ukrainian seaports. This indicator is 5 pct less than the volume shipped in the prior period.
