Ukraine. ViOil doubled high-oleic sunflower processing in Oct-Nov

In October-November 2018, ViOil processed about 80 thou. tons of high-oleic (HO) sunflower seeds and produced 35 thou. tons of HO oil. This is twice as high volume compared with the corresponding period last year.

Currently, at OEP-2 of Vinnytsia Oil and Fat Plant (OFP), the autumn program of high-oleic sunflower processing is coming to an end.

Vinnytsia OFP uses modern technology to deodorize high-oleic sunflower oil. Packaging lines allow to pack it into 1 l and 5 l PET bottles. ViOil also exports HO sunflower oil in flexi containers.

“The major demand for this product is in Europe and Southeast Asia. The high quality and usefulness of high-oleic sunflower oil allow the company to receive an additional premium on each ton,” said Bogdan Koroviy, Head of Sales Department at ViOil Industrial Group.

As reported earlier, ViOil signed a cooperation agreement with the Chinese corporation COFCO International within the framework of the import-export exhibition in Shanghai (China) in early November 2018.
