Ukrainian rapeseed discovering Mexico

Ukrainian rapeseed exports in the first four months of the current season remained record high at 1907.6 KMT, or up 13% from last year, reports UkrAgroConsult. At the same time, October saw a decrease in exports after an active start of the new 2018/19 season, when commodity shipments during the first two months hit new season highs.

EU countries further enhanced their position as importers of Ukrainian rapeseed. They boosted purchases by almost 21% and absorbed 87% of total exports. Pakistan and the UAE still share second place among importers. In addition, the first rapeseed shipments to Mexico in September 2018 allow this country to be a major buyer.
