In October’s report, the USDA raised its estimate for the 2018/19 Black Sea oilseed crop to 43,362 KMT (+160 KMT), UkrAgroConsult’s analysts note.
A slight increase (+60 KMT) is expected at the expense of a heavier crop in Turkey, which is now set at 1,800 KMT against 1,740 KMT predicted a month ago.
Rapeseed production in the Black Sea region will rise by 100 KMT owing to Ukraine, whose rapeseed crop is now forecast at 2,700 KMT against 2,600 KMT expected a month ago.
The forecast for Black Sea soybean production in the 2018/19 season was left unchanged at 8,199 KMT.
