In November 2018, Belarus reduced soybean oil exports — Belstat

In November 2018, Belarus reduced the export volumes of soybean oil to 0.2 thsd tonnes, up more than 4 times compared with the same indicator in the previous month, reported the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus (Belstat).

According to APK-Inform experts, the trend developed due to reorientation of sales of the product towards the domestic market, in terms of the unattractive pricing environment of the export segment, and the seasonal factor.

Since the beginning of 2018, Russia remained the main export destination for Belarusian soybean oil, which share covered 96.3% of the general shipments of the product.
