Ukraine. Posco Daewoo buys stake in grain terminal from OREXIM

Posco Daewoo acquired a 75% stake of the grain terminal in Nikolayev, owned by the group of companies OREXIM. In addition to the property share, Korean company also acquired the right to operate the port terminal with a turnover capacity of 2.5 MMT of grain per year. Its construction is scheduled to be finished in July. Thus, Posco Daewoo strengthens its position as a global grain trader, reports UkrAgroConsult.

As a reminder, the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank allocated a loan of EUR 31 million to the group of companies OREXIM for modernization and expansion of the grain terminal in Nikolayev port. The storage capacity of the enterprise will increase from 60 KMT to 150 KMT. At the same time, handling capacity will grow to 2.5 MMT per year.
