As of December 6th, plants in Ukraine produced 1.32 mln t of beet sugar, the National Association of Sugar Producers of Ukraine (Ukrsugar) informs.

8.77 mln t of sugar beet were processed by the reporting date. 31 plants were launched in the current beet sugar production season.

As estimated by the analytical department of Ukrsugar, sugar export in 2019/2020 should reach 300 thou. t.

Previously reported that in September-November 2019/20, sugar exports made up 17 thou. t, 8x less from the comparative period of the previous season (139 thou. t).
