As of October 29, 2018, sugar mills in Ukraine produced 872.7 thou. tons of produce, Ukrsugar reports.

By the reporting date, refineries have processed 6.72 million tons of sugar beet.

Sugar production season joined 39 enterprises.

The production of sugar in the current marketing year is expected to be slightly less than 2 million tons, despite the reduction in the number of functioning refineries.

Previously it was reported that the three largest holdings-exporters of sugar in Ukraine held 70% of the market.
