As of November 27th, plants in Ukraine produced 1.25 mln t of sugar, the National Association of Sugar Producers of Ukraine (Ukrsugar) informs.

86% of the crop or 8.31 mln t of sugar beet were processed by the reporting date. 31 plants have started beet sugar production season.

Previously reported that two of the six sugar plants in Vinnytsya region had completed the production season.

As estimated by the analytical department of Ukrsugar, sugar export in 2019/2020 should reach 300 thou. t.

Sugar beet harvesting in Ukraine by November 27th reached 9.7 mln t. The crop was harvested on 218 thou. ha or 99% of the areas using the average productivity of 44.5 t/ha (2018: 49.4 t/ha).
