As of November 21st, plants in Ukraine produced 1.178 mln t of sugar, the National Association of Sugar Producers of Ukraine (Ukrsugar) informs.

7.87 mln t of sugar beet were processed by the reporting date. 31 plants have started beet sugar production season.

As estimated by the analytical department of Ukrsugar, sugar export in 2019/2020 should reach 300 thou. t.

Sugar beet harvesting in Ukraine by November 20th reached 9.5 mln t. The crop was harvested on 214 thou. ha or 97% of the areas using the average productivity of 44.3 t/ha (2018: 49.3 t/ha).
